It's a little confusing trying to nail down CECX with all the limited partnerships. I'm not sure exactly how it all works out at this time. On a superficial level, looking at a 8 year chart, it doesn't seem to have been the best investment unless you can time the peaks and valleys. I would assume it's a better deal if you are holding the actual units in an individual partnership as opposed to holding the stock. These partnerships my be able to funnel off the profits into the holders of the individual units and not leave a lot for the common shareholders.

Please understand that I haven't followed the company and my initial reaction may be way off base since I don't know exactly how they do things. One thing is for sure, they live and die with the price of oil and gas. Last year was very tough on the company.

To follow up. They rely heavily on a few customers and to lose a big one could be a large problem, although probably only temporary.

Was the contract termination from a customer of oil/gas or on a specific drilling site?
