GMST'S Gemstar guide is embedded in Microsoft's CE operating system. This means that GMST's Gemstar will now be available through ATT and MSFT combo to more than 60 % of US households. GMST gets royalties from each installation. RCA to announce installation of Gemstar guide in its Web TV units. No wonder GMST is flying today.

GMST is up 8 points today. Maybe others are beginning to realize this as well. Thanks for the note, as I was not aware of who held the key patents. That being the case, it makes Microsoft's investment look even worse in terms of return on investment.
