The new G3's are absolute KILLERS!

I can add that the new 333Mhz iMac's are killer as well. I believe they can be had for $1,149, which includes a 64MB RAM upgrade in some cases.

R.W. & all...re the virus on Macs conversation...just want to share with you
all that several PRINT PUBLICATIONS with which we do business...have
been hit by virus' in the last couple of weeks.

I agree, I've had several DTP clients hit hard by the AutoStart virus, and strong virus protection software is the only way to stop it.

Unless you do absolutely no disk swapping (AutoStart loves Zip disks) and have no network access of any kind, you should be very concerned about catching viruses on your Mac. Before May of last year when the AutoStart virus hit, I didn't think much of virus protection software either. Since then, it has been indispensable and it has stopped many infections. Running without it is playing Russian roulette.
