Used to live in the midwest when I was a kid. Had a tornado strike really close once. Had a friend who was taking a bath when the roof blew off the house.

That mattress isn't a bad idea.

But do you have your beer and camcorder, wouldn't want you looking like a city slicker. Also remember if you do get caught up in one and later interviewed on TV, try to be as inarticulate as possible and of course mention that it sounded like a freight train.
