So MSFT decided to buy T instead of AMZN, huh?

Bill Gates is not a nut, he is not one of the "9 million strong" on-line investors/traders. With his Billions, he is going for "vision" not "dream".

"Sold half AMZN around $200, but waited way too long on the rest"

Did the same thing, but sold a little more at the top and on the way down. we knew better. Executing a well thought out plan takes a bit more discipline than I have.

Msft had to do something. This deal is so big the market will not be able to react quickly enough, like the Erickson/Qcom deal. T and MSFT will not double quickly, I don't mean that at all, but this is big for their business. And I think it is a hard shot to Aol. Aol will find a way around it, most likely, but it is pretty dicey until that occurs.
