ENBC Sympathy on Sulfur Free Fuel; SYNM 6s

Traders looking for other companies that might benefit from new sulfur standards have turned to MEOH Methanex Corp, bidding shares + 1 trading 4s. One other possibility may be Syntroleum, SYNM -a Tulsa-based technology company that has licensed its proprietary process for converting natural gas into synthetic crude oil and transportation fuels to several of the world's largest oil companies.
From its release at the World Fuels Conference '99: Global Refining Technology and Cleaner Fuels last month- SYNM is "working with DaimlerChrysler to develop ''designer fuels'' for DaimlerChrysler's new generation of compression ignition engines.Syntroleum added that it has begun tests of its synthetic fuels made from natural gas with a national laboratory to demonstrate the effectiveness of reforming the synthetic fuel into hydrogen for powering fuel cells. Synthetic fuels converted from natural gas appear to have none of the drawbacks associated with the other proposed energy sources, which have problems with toxicity, relatively low hydrogen density and lack of distribution infrastructure. Other sources often contain sulfur and other contaminants that pose technical challenges to fuel cell design."

"Syntroleum fuels are virtually free of sulfur, aromatics and heavy metals. " biz.yahoo.com
