Found the first sign of attention.

Xoma announced it would save millions by no longer sending staff to conferences when they have nothing new to say. In this way it also showed great responsiveness to shareholders, as the idea was suggested by Cacaito on the highly respected Silicon Investors, message board.

Most of the purchases today were
retail. Because of that, I think most of this
volume came from the article in MarketWatch.
It was very positive and came out after the bell.
Action might be showing us that some short term traders/long term investors are finally looking at biotechs again.
If I was new and wanted to invest in biotechs I'm sure that article would make me check out XOMA.

Hopefully this volume is showing us that there is a
subtle shift to biotechs. That would be
incredibly positive for XOMA, since their products would
be coming on line just when investors are once
again looking at biotechs.....wow..

The easiest way to know why they bought is to ask them.
Why did y'all buy today. Heard something??
Read something?? Tell us why you picked XOMA....thanx.
