Company Press Release
First Off the Internet Property ''Gravity Angels'' Sold to Sun Movie Channel in Taiwan
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 1999--Kaleidoscope Media Group Inc. (OTC BB:KMGG - news; Frankfurt:BNN), distributor of Brilliant Digital Entertainment's (AMEX:BDI - news) ''Gravity Angel,'' have entered into an agreement with Spring International of Taiwan.

The agreement calls for Spring International's Sun Movie Channel to offer two versions of the off the Internet movie. A linear version of the movie will air on analogue cable and an interactive version will be offered on their digital tier, according to Henry Siegel, Chairman and CEO of Kaleidoscope.

The deal was consummated at the MIP television market in Cannes last month. ''Gravity Angels'' generated considerable interest among the attendees. Deals are near closure in many major territories pending completion of the movie including: Canada, France, Germany, Eastern Europe, the United Kingdom, Latin America, South Africa, Australia and Italy. The movie will be syndicated in the United States in the fourth quarter of 1999.

This marks the first time that a movie coming off the Internet has been sold to television broadcasters. The airing of an interactive movie on digital cable is a television first as well. Another first is the steering of analogue cable viewers to the Sun Movie Channel website where they will be able to access the interactive version.

''We found interest was extremely high for the property because broadcasters can see opportunities to drive traffic from the Internet to their channel and back again,'' said Siegel.

''Gravity Angels'' is a two-hour science fiction thriller. It resides on Brilliant Digital's website, www.Multipathmovies.com. Viewers can access ''webisodes'' on a pay-per-view basis. The interactive elements allow the viewer to choose between various plot lines, which lead to different conclusions.
