Coz is partially correct. The brokerages will not know what you are talking about until next week. There is a chance that they may not know what you are talking about even then.

This dividend is for a private company so the brokerage companies may not even be involved. The transfer agent and Medinah will have to take care of the paperwork and issuance of private shares.

Since none of us knows for sure, I suggest that someone contact the company and find out all the details and then post them so we are not all speculating.

Coz I think you have that backward. Date of record is Friday. That makes ex div date yesterday, i.e. you had to buy by yesterday to be owner of record on Friday at the close.
