To make it worse CPQ is up almost 1 big dollar. Does anyone out there think we should kiss that earnings run goodbye.

Looks like Naz has reached low for the day and is headed back up now. We should get a bounce out of DELL at this point. Yesterday, low was 38 15/16 before it soared back to close at 41 5/16.

When I look at my portfolio and see Dell, I like to refer to it as "Dell Dog."

<<Are the MMs just loading up before the earnings run?>>

Yep. The BIG BOYS love fear (false education appearing real) and volatility. This creates the churn 'em and burn 'em effect. Weak investors sell and lots of commissions are generated.

DELL is a GREAT company and will outperform most alternatives in the LONG RUN.

Best Regards,

Scott

>>The price of DELL right now (39 9/16) is a God-damn joke. WTF is going on<<

John and All!!! I share your outrage and to add salt to today's wound, Compaq closes up 1 1/2. Compaq drags the stock of Dell down. Next money moves out of the techs and into cylicals. Next the stock market has a sell off and Dell gets whacked. Now Greenspan talks like a damn senile fart and scares the crap out of everybody. Why doesn't someone shut him the f##K up. He has a treacherous manner of talking and saying the wrong thing. About Dell I hope that we will not be disappointed when the earnings is announced or this stock is going to be trashed, tarred and feathers as there is a mountain of pessimism out there. I too was ready to slam the kitchen table when I heard th finish today on Dell and Compaq.

Best Wishes
Frank
