Actually, DELL did not fully meet street expectations.They met EPS estimates but failed to meet Revenue estimate. This caused the analyst types to proclaim the end to DELL hyper growth.

Also, expectations for revenue and earnings had been driven up by some erroneous interpretations of the news.
