I'd say that depends mostly on how well eToys builds it's brand. If they manage to become "well known" somehow before many have made their first Internet toy shopping trip, they'll win more of the first-time online customers; they'll keep them if they offer the best value (which includes customer service and the "feel of the shopping experience", however you want to define that).

At the same time, Toys'R'Us already has the name, but not the online shopping association (yet); they've got as much work to do to build their online business as eToys.
