No doubt. Every single person appearing on CNBC from Merrill Lynch in the last 6 months has been bearish. Let us not forget that they endorsed the bearish call to Dow 6800 when we were at the October trough in the market.

Why even have these goofballs on? There are several respectable regional firms who haven't even had a moment's mention on CNBC, guys who have made sweet market calls, and yet CNBC keeps going back to the same old chumps for commentary. Perhaps someone at CNBC needs to realize that, on Wall Street, "Big" doesn't always translate into "Better." In fact, there is usually an inverse corrollary. When was the last time you saw anyone from a Wall Street wirehouse make a defining market moment? As Ben Stein said in Ferris Bueller, "anyone...anyone???"
