E3 starts Wednesday May 12th (sound familiar?). The floor
opens May 13th. I've been hearing that earnings are
going to be on May 20th but I'm not sure where that
is coming from.

E3 runs from the 12th-15th, with the first two days reserved for conferences and workshops, and the last two for exhibitions. The show is in downtown LA in the LA convention center. At this point, unregistered guests will pay $100 to attend (it's free for pre-registered guests).

It will be interesting to see how how many speculative articles will pop up and such over the next week. the penstar guy is pretty much on the ball from what i've been hearing... though a lot of it comes from rumors and conjectures. eg. the V4 can run up to quad processors with 128 MB of memory, full screen anti-aliasing, dvd stuff, S3TC support, and their own compression algorithm (narrow YAB) that will be included in DX7... pretty much the works.
