I acknowledged that danger, of course, although sometimes they are not so much anti- Semitic as anti- non- Catholic. Protestants can be second class citizens too. By the way, I am of Latvian Jewish extraction on my father's side of the family, and my mother's ancestors were English and Italian! I am aware that the Italians are not particularly anti- Semitic, and that the Italian government originally resisted Hitler's demands to give up Jews. Also, Mussolini's mistress was Jewish! Strange world sometimes....
