It's very easy to run around yelling "prior art". It's more difficult to actually justify the yelling. After a long examination, the claims were also recently allowed in Europe. Given that the market values these patents at about minus $100 million (my estimate, based on the pipeline), this could be a huge blessing in disguise [for traders]. I have more than sufficient, highly-personal experience with Pfizer that, IMO, teaches me about the company's ethics.
