Michelle- One question. Were you into the Biotech mania back in the early 90's? I kinda doubt it. If you were, you would know what happens to manias like the current internut lunacy.

I'm still smarting from some of the Biotech trash I got talked into buying. Here's what happens- Maybe a handful will make it in the long run. 95% of them will roll up and down like tidal waves, mostly down though. You buy the dip, and you end up catching a falling knife. Most of them will end up as penny stocks in 5-6 years. If you want one long term winner, you better get about 20 different ones. <ng>

They made great trading vehicles, I suppose, if you were razor sharp at doing that sort of thing. Your best odds by far were shorting them as they stumbled. I don't think you ever saw a 15% across the board down day on them. They basically just rolled downhill with everyone's paper profits.
