Thomas, my new USB ZIP also installed easily. I've re-plugged it several times since and it works. Not everone is so lucky, and Stephen Manes wrote about this in Forbes... "It plugs, but does it play?" forbes.com This is not a USB ZIP problem, but rather one of several USB standards. Little did I know that my new Compaq PC [Jan.1999] has an obsolete USB interface. Upon ZIP installation the program pointed this out, but the ZIP works. Another poster has warned of the USB mess here previously, but I forget who it was. Gottfried
