As I have said.....I will not waste my time on you, for you DON'T UNDERSTAND/COMPREHEND THE WHOLE ISSUE INVOLVED...LMAO!

Rico, laugh all you want. AOL has been laughing at T's internet subscriber base for years! You fail to realize some key points that RockeMan is making -

* T will bleed cash upgrading the infastructure, and everyone who has half a brain knows it.

* T will have to fight more red tape in Congress. BTW, it's not just AOL that is part of the coalition - other ISP's are involved, such as Mindspring.

* You seem to think just because T owns the pipes, they now have some fairy wand they can just pass over consumers. Talk about laughing my ass off! They gotta market the service - but before that, they gotta come up with a gameplan to somehow recope the BILLIONS of dollars they just put up.

Here is another question to pose. If you we're in the tech industry, would you rather fight MSFT or T head to head? Think back when everyone and their mother said MSFT will crush AOL with their internet play MSN. Well, what the hell happened? AOL kicked MSN's ass - and I mean a good old fashioned ass whipping!

And what did MSFT have up it's sleeve? Oh, just about every damn desktop in America - and still does! Now you tell me - with that kind of power and marketshare, how come the EMPIRE couldn't get it done? And now your telling us just because T has some redundant pipes that is going to take years to actually launch, AOL is toast?

How ironic it will be when wireless takes off just when T finishes climbing out of it's broadband "panacea."
