So much for the argument about Delphi not having a use for the results of their joint research with VLNC, eh? ;-)

Now about those.....

Friends-
I think FMK is right. Use of phosphate cathodes in high voltage truck, generator and other hi-capacity applications could be a very big business - much of it replacement over the next several years. Here are a couple questions:
1. If Delco produces, will VLNC have any licensing fees coming from their old agreement?
2. What kind of royalty might the phosphate cathode patent realistically bring? 4%?, 6%?, 8%?. (Did someone recently report here that existing cathodes were still generating 8% for patentee?)
3. What about larger stationary applications? The replacement market is important, but turnover is slow. How large a demand will there be for new uses in telecommunications, utility load balancing, and others? Does anyone know of these things?
