To CGarcia;

By now it is painfully obvious to you that you overpaid. Don't despair - the fact that you paid 170+ makes you no dumber that the lucky jack asses that bought at 160 or 150 or 140 or 90 etc. The logic that went into buying aol at 170 is no different than the logic applied at 120. If aol is overvalued at 170 it is also overvalued at 120 or 60. It's just a matter of degree. There comes a point where you throw traditional valuation methods out the window and invest based on all the new "valuation models" espoused by the so-called analysts. Once you throw tradition valuation windows out the window then it really doesn't matter what you pay because now you're into the "greater fool" theory of investing. We can all fool ourselves into thinking that there is some logic to these new valuation models but in the final analysis we look at aol and say "man, this stock just keeps going up, maybe there is something to these new valuation models. If not, i can always sell at a higher price to the next dummy that comes after me".

AOL is all about finding that next guy. CGarcia, you haven't found him yet and just maybe you never will because someone, as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west will be the last guy holding the hot potato. Why don't you just hope that it isn't you.
