I still believe that $8 is what we will see in the next several trading days. However after some of my own DD on CY, I have come to the conclusion that $25 by the end of this summer is very likely.
Check out smartmoney.com and look at Broadvision. BVSN trades at $45 and has been Upgraded to a Strong Buy and has a target of $75 according to many analysts. These guys do something very similar to CY, which is to personalize the Web Page and the Ads to the individual user. That is their main technology driving their "ecommerce solutions" to many of its customers/partners. These include Sun, HP, American Airlines and......heyyyy........wait a minute......Cisco, Nixdorf of Germany and Telus of Canada. How interesting! If BVSN can trade at $45 with a target of $75 on Nasdaq with approx 25 mill shares outstanding and under $.50 EPS next year, why can CY not trade at $25 in the coming few months? They had a loss of approx CD$0.06 loss in '98 and also have that association with Telus which is very curious. They have the same technology and are trading at a ridiculously low multiple in comparison to its peers.
Their challenge right now is to make themselves known to the investing public and also to the potential customers of 3Web. All of us shareholders must sit tight and not sell because the risk/reward ratio makes it stupid to sell. I think any drops in price should be considered as an opportunity to buy more, not to panic and sell.

Warning*************************************************
Don, $25.00 by the end of the summer? That sounds like when the promotion is almost over.Isnt this the old trick used by that New Jersey promo group, you know, the way they did Coleville, Antares , Erin, DAK,etc.Remember how Coleville and Antares all ran up to the 4 dollar mark just like CY is now, and then comes the HUGE projections of future value ,like there is no end in sight.
This gives the pump and dump people time to play a bit and get out.
When they pull out , support COLLAPSES, and the value drops off the
map. Are not CLL worth 4 cents and ANZ 8 cents now??
BE CAREFULL PEOPLE, especially if you are new to this Company.
With some old familiar faces back around on this thread I would be
very very carefull with my money.
Help me out Don, -- warn them about this unscrupulous bunch.

PS I have owned this stock before , do not now, nor have anything
to gain from my post --save to warn others.I have been burned
by the group I speak of in the past.(CLL ,ANZ)

Long time no hear.....

I hope CY chart does not end up looking like this for the last three years....

canada.bigcharts.com

canada.bigcharts.com

Look at the left side of Antares "promotion" February 1997, and look at the left side of the recent runup in Cybersurf, middle of March 1999

The downside may look like Antares or it may climb to the moon, anyone see anything familiar here.

Print the charts out and hold them up to the light,

Scary Chit!!!

""To add to whatever insight I might have, I conferred with the person who originally placed me into Cybersurf several years ago to see what he thought about the company and its stock at this moment in time.""

Is it possible to enlighten us with the name of the individual that originally placed you into this stock? I have seen the name Brian Smith, promoter extradinaire, thrown around....could it be him?

Much obliged.

ps: Your point #3:

""3.) He strongly reiterated that this play is not about current earnings, but about positioning for future
commercial activity and about patents.""

Point well taken, as the financial statements certainly do not support a market cap of more that $60,000,000. Personally I think that the suggestion of a $25 share price by the end of the summer is pure, unadulterated hype.
