Ahhh, I see—so any day of the year, it would take a highly skilled investigative team to figure out that the idea of selling the internet for private ownership, piece by piece, is silly?

I'm wondering—which team did you hire to figure it out? (Assuming that you have figured it out…) Was it the 'A-Team' or 'The Mod Squad'?

Cindy, your comments are doing something to me I thought was impossible, which is to fill me with new respect for Dan Dorfman.
His machinations, to my mind, were so sleazy that I was compelled on many an April First to call his office with rumors of mergers or buyouts, things like:

Sierra Springwater is merging with Mellon Bank. New company to be named Sierra Spring WaterMellon Bank.

PNC Bank is buying Pittsburg Glass and, also, Portosan Inc.
New company will be named PNC.

Cunard Steamship and Aer Lingus announce merger. New company will be named......(well, you get the idea)

But I now have to appreciate his getting such jokes right off the bat and enjoying them (never even hinted lawsuit). He, at least, was intelligent and had a good sense of humor. That clearly puts him a head and shoulder formation above BW.
