Interesting. 'New space age technologies' exist, therefore it requires a highly skilled investigative staff for anyone to figure out that selling the internet for private ownership, piece by piece, is a silly idea?

Then I guess, if we were in a simpler time, without all the 'new space age technologies', then it wouldn't require a highly skilled investigative staff for anyone to figure out that selling the internet for private ownership, piece by piece, is a silly idea?

I confess I'm completely baffled by your application of logic.

Nobody said that Business Wire should have to do anything. They're just a wire service. The lesson of this exercise will be the fact that getting themselves in a legal huff over an educational April Fools joke will constitute shooting themselves in the foot, since they are not exactly famous for legal action against those who post on their system deception for monetary gain.

Which was not the intended lesson at all.
