Re - private share dividend
My Canadian broker is very specific - I do not get the Medinah Gold share dividend for any shares I purchased after Tuesday the 4th - he tells me I can sell any of my shares with him yesterday today and tomorrow and I will still get the dividend - He says Ex dividend date was Wed the 5th - I am not prepared to argue with him.

I have been looking further into this dividend and have received yet another piece of conflicting information about it. At this point, I would have to say trust your brokerage to steer you in the right direction. They are ultimately responsible for delivery of your purchases. --Coz
