The MicroOS(T) that EDIG owns can work in a device regardless of the input source.

This is just a guess on my part... When you say "EDIG Products", this is the only thing that I can think of (right off the bat).

EDIG's Micro Operating System is really a very valuable asset to EDIG.
It's main function is manage files (messages or whatever) that reside in FlashMemory (solid state memory).

Speculating...
Cell Phones: Could use EDIG's MicroOS to manage FlashMemory which is used as a message center (leaving voice mail, delivering messages to callers, etc.) which would be contained in the Phone itself (not at the phone co.).

Digital Assistants: Not really sure what they are... BUT, if FlashMemory is used (for whatever), I'd say the MicroOs has a very probable place in the device.

Taking audio from the internet is a given... (That's what everybody's talking about now... but there is more...)

Text-to-audio devices, also using the MicroOs, could have a wide scope of uses from aiding the blind to helping a busy executive run their business.

So, to answer your question, yes (it could IMHO).

OK Susan, I hope I've helped a little... Good to see you back!
