Sam.. you sound like a reasonable person... so whats an investor to do???

Jeene,

Investing in tech stocks is all a matter of timeframe. If your a trader, you love these stocks because you can swing trade like Tarzan ... and hopefully not fall on your head. If your more a long term investor, then I don't see anything wrong with holding AOL. No one should get confused with the market action and AOL stock. There is fundamentally nothing wrong with AOL - in fact, it is firing on all cylinders.

Once everyone has had a chance to digest the cable deal, it will be all but forgotten. T will be in legislation, analysts will find other companies to focus on, and AOL will move on. I've held through a lot of ups and downs in AOL ... and if I tried to time the market, I would have lost more then I've gained. AOL position in the marketplace is to strong to be ignored.

Just MHO.
