HJ:

" I think its time to get out of internet stocks" is exactly the big boys want to do. Once guys like you are out of this stock, then they will jack it up. Believe me, in two weeks time , this puppy will be flirting >200 level. I tell you why:

1. Benign employment 3

2. Settlement in Kosovo stuff

3. Analysts reiterate ratings.

4. Some Major deals between AMZN and other companies.

5. Most Importantly, option expirations in two weeks. Big boys are already planning to kill the puts [ I overheard that they are planning to " circle the putters, pin them down and then kill them in two weeks. :))))) ]

Regards

Kumar

hjm, i bought aol yhoo ebay and msft yesterday so that makes two of us.

the technology sector has sold off directly after earnings season for the past 3 quarters in a row, at least that's as far back as i can recall from my failing memory alone. the same stocks have also moved to higher highs after each of these pullbacks. now i'm not saying inet mania isn't going to end one of these days but bullish sentiment is still very much in tact towards these stocks wouldn't you say?

these stocks will continue to move higher so long as they remain in favor and valuations take a back seat to greed and the american dream to get rich quick. 15,000 new online traders a day, that's alot of new money coming into the markets. i don't know about you but when i opened my first online trading account i couldn't wait to buy equities and zero my account out. also, let's not forget about all the daytraders out there who will fight tooth and nail to keep running these stocks up and down like yo yos so they don't have to return to their 9 to 5 jobs anytime soon.

this is pure speculation of course but speculatation is fun :-)
