Its hard to believe that oil markets would be affected by a statement from the head doofus at Shell that "a 52 percent jump in prices this year may lead to quota-busting among the world's larger producers." Wow, what a revelation. And then again, they may NOT. This is the same guy who was bemoaning the near-certainty that oil prices would remain very low for many years about four months ago. Uhhhhh, a little off the mark then but I'am sure he is right now.
I think it is a near-certainty that OPEC will deliver very positive numbers for April. Hell, they may be lying thru their teeth but prove 'em wrong. Even fools occasionally learn a lesson and if they haven't learned the importance of producer discipline over the last 18 months, OPEC is dead as a doornail and they know it. JMO.
