I gotta go, but I must remember to tell you about the three actors who ~ honest ~ foiled a real life robbery in Portland yesterday. They heard a woman scream, real loud, and ran to her rescue and chased the robber down the street three blocks and clobbered him. They were in costume, and armed, as The Three Musketeers. They were quite dashing and cute and swashy on the news. And the woman was a darn fair and loud damsel in the next theater. (She had been practicing her lines.) TV had a Police Bureau mug shot of the captured thief. One of The Muskies said, "Who's going to rob an actor?" They're famous now. They had the damsel repeat her curdler for the news cams. No wonder they came running. She says, "It was like this!! <big inhale> AEEEEEEEEE______________________________________!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Then she did it again. In case. She was really ready for her TV moment. Boy. Muskie says, "We always hear them scream over there, but this one was screamier." I'da rescued her too. She was cute. It was pretty exciting. And must have been interesting viewing on the sidewalk. Imagine when the guys goes to prison. "How'd you get busted?" "Well....."
