Purely from an academic standpoint—to answer your question (“Would that be a bad thing? For you, I mean.”), I think it would be bad.

Consider that if somebody in Kosovo reads the release and wants to obtain control of the webnodes servicing the Slavic regions, we could be held liable for any war crimes which occur—such as any genocidal measures effected to ensure ethnic cleasing of the internet in that region.

Or, if a washed-up has-been ex-boxer in Chicago is reading the release on her laptop (along with her demented psychic-cop in New York) and absent-mindedly steps out in front of a parked bus, stubbing her toe—there would be medical damages to contend with. Remote damages even, since the psychic-cop would remotely incur pain and suffering in an empathetic manner.
