Galton was a financial person who worked his way up into operations. Now, who is at CIST to make sure that the numbers are not funny?

After all, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer. Earnings per share actually improved under Galton.

What skills does this new person have... the one that will only own shares that are part of an options plan?

Are they going back to a roots.... research?
