Badger,
<<Honestly, do you see QNTM hitting 27-28 at some point this year?>>
Honestly, yes. But of course, I thought it would last year too (in fact it did, earlier this year, hit 29 7/8). I posted one reservation that I have on another related thread (it's related because many of the same diehard DD posters post there): Message 9373044. Briefly, the reservation is that QNTM/DLT may be biting off more than it can chew, and runs the risk of poor execution as well as a potential financial sinkhole if management isn't careful. All of their businesses are competitive, even if they are currently the leaders in tape. They are starting from zero in network appliances, and apparently, according to the CC, have something new in mind. New things may be wonderful, but sometimes they are ignored even if they are wonderful. That said, I believe management is strong, has a lot of experience in managing extremely competitive businesses, and brings a lot to the table, enough to give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

<<But I must say that I do enjoy the DD threads as much as any others. The only problem with these threads is that the quantity does not match the quality of responses.>>
Thank heavens for that. I like threads with high quality, low (or lower, at least) quantity. There is only so much you can say about these companies. Cheerleading doesn't suit the style of most of us who have been posting. Not that we've had all that much to cheer about. But there is a solid, good core group of posters on these threads.

Best wishes,
Sam
