You have no privacy rights when you post on a public forum such as SI.


Andreas, you are a lawyer, I believe. So let's say you are right about that. In fact, I suspect we not only give up our rights to privacy, but also our first and fourth amendment rights when we post here, but that is another matter.

But here is my point. CBS can come in here and pull off our posts and republish them, as they did. Now, if I were to go recopy that article and post it back here, with my and other's comments, they technically could sue for copyright violation.

Seems a bit ironic, doesn't it? But then, I am not a lawyer.
