Well then I suggest you stick with sebl or Oracle, on the outside I2, maybe. Y2K is an excuse it is saturation these companies are suffering from and if the entire mkt isn't growing (and it isnt for HRIS, mfg, etc) then they won't regain their former growth rates. Otoh even in down mkts psft for example hasn't budged so it looks like the bottom.

Now that I see what happens with software - its a once in 10 year purchase really, it makes me realize why IBM had the hardware centric pricing model they did. Probably to expressly avoid the boom and bust software sales cycle.
