You are missing the point. This is Windows CE. It has no keyboard. You just unplug the damn thing and replug it in. Since CE is almost "instantly on" the whole process takes only a minute.
Maybe someone could program it into the remote. Or better yet, MSFT could add an enhancement that has your TV automatically turn itself off and back on every couple of hours, just to prevent it from failing just when you want it least. Their engineers must have a pretty good idea of when you would want it to automatically reset.
Later, when the MSFT TV channel is fully functional, your set top box will probably not work quite as well on other stations...
