Well, yes, I'm not saying it can't work. I'm only saying it isn't a slam dunk, and that the network appliance sector is new now, is clearly a growth sector, and is wide open, attracting a lot of companies, some established with big bucks, some new with ambitious, presumably nimble and smart managements (like NTAP). While they are making a push into it, they also must make sure that they defend their DLT franchise with a successful SDLT transition. They must also defend their position on the desktop and in low cost drives against increasing competition which is taking dead aim at them. And they must continue to push on their high end drives to make that division profitable.

You know I wish them success, but they have a lot on their plate.
