I did answer it, you just didn't like the answer....I don't have any "angles"!! but if you made, a ligitamate trade, of a quality stock. then i would be the first to apoligize.so i would say buy.swy.hlr.bbc.and many others on the n.y.s.e.and in 2 to 4 years. you will make real money. You assume that people do not trade the US boards! Bad assumption. Your problem is that you don't read the title of the thread. This thread is Canuck stocks only. Norm , you really are a silly bugger, I suppose you trade in a void. Do you read the papers, well then I guess the writers influenced your trades. Do you watch the movers, again I guess the movers influenced your trades. Do you read the forums, well I guess they influenced your trades. I know I shouldn't waste my breath but I can never resist a good fight now,how do we get ordinary punters,to drive up the price of our stock,simple, WE TELL THEM WE BOUGHT. XXXXXamount of shares.and 100, at $30.25 becomes, $30.35, and another 300 buy becomes. $30.45.and another50 shares become,$30.55.and then the kiss of death.some floor trader gets an offer to sell 5,000 at $30.75. ergo the poster makes $1000,dollaroonies. I went back and check and from my first buy to my first sell about on NNC 60,000 shares changed hands. That is $2.5 million dollars. Sure a heads up might draw the attention of a few people on the thread who may buy a couple of thousand dollars if the stock looks good and move the stock .05 (if it even moves) but I don't think anyone with $2.5 million is lurking this thread. On large stocks a heads up is not going do move the stock, they are driven by people far more powerful than you or I. The above example you gave is an illiquid stock...one of the things we want is volume. you must have big cajolies keith.no true investor or daytrader would put out eighty thousand,to make a pittence of 500 american,GIVE ME A BREAK, You must be kidding. What do you think day traders all over the U.S are doing. They are scalping as low as 1/16th of a point with a 100K on the line. Yes I risked 80K and got out with just a thousand profit on that one trade. The trade looked like it was turning on me...should I have held? i have made great money. from just lerking.so don't come forward and say you are posting to make other people money. You summed it up nicely. If everyone lurked there would be nobody posting. Would you like it better if we all stopped posting our picks and our buys and sells. Then how would you make money?
