As much as I have complained about EDIG's late entry into the portable digital music player market and their snails pass toward showing us even a picture of a prototype, I must ask is it to EDIG's advantage to have entered late? Consider the news this week: biz.yahoo.com Clearly, the DSP that EDIG will be using is superior to anything that was on the market previously. The competition is either redesigning their players or hoping that the consumer is not informed about the advantages of the DSP that IT has created and is helping to design into EDIG's player.
