Yes it would. If Maxam had a large investor standing in the wings waiting to invest $10MM in the stock, do you think they wouldn't scrutinize the hell out of the process and know every little detail there is to know prior to investing that money? Yes it would work with no damage to the proprietary nature of the work. You see the whole point of finding a credible person is that they don't divulge false information and they don't lie. So if they promise not to divulge specific information and sign a non-disclosure agreement then all is fine. People like I am talking about find their reputation many times more valuable than all the money in the world.
