Depends when the property is sold, and how much gold is thought to be there at that time. Gitennes sold its interest in the Virgen property (Ecuador) to Cambior for a few million plus some royalties if it ever becomes a mine. This did nothing for the stock price so far. On the other hand Argentina Gold proved many millions of ounces of gold, so they were bought out completely by Newmont in a stock swap, and shareholders did very well.
