You asked for it Brooklyn:

Friend at AT&T has a buddy in cable industry - went to some tech conference about a month or so and came back recommending this stock to friends.

It was at $0.50 that day, then to 0.70, and we got off our butts and in at 0.95. Unfortunately I bailed at 1.11 after seeing it touch 1.95, and I am back in at 2.95.

The tip we received was that something is going down with @Home. To be honest, I did not research the company - just bought and sold blindly. Having looked into things (theres an old post referencing this... the CEO is calling for Y 2000 earnings of 0.24, which made entry at 2.95 or even 4.00 for that matter reasonable considering the Price to Earnings (albeit future) 12 at 2.95 or 16 at 4.00.

Not bad value for an internet play when EBAY is what 600X ? My thoughts and feelings are that the Internet valuations in Canada are fairly immature and have room to move up - there are few Inet co's in Canada as well, forcing volume to fewer places.

Keep an eye on Bid.com (Canada BII.AL or NASD: BIDS) - this is the flying Canadian Internet co. and somewhat of a Bellwether sign for CY a month ago or so - they seem to be moving to their own drummer lately tho.

Read up on old posts for info on the attention their software that targets audiences for ad displays. Big Cdn advertisers have signed up.

FWIW.

Regards,

Dave
