There is a very nasty employee lawsuit at qcom and if it is all that I think it is then I'm going to sell even at a loss and never touch the stock or options on it again. I guess the management sold the R&D division to ericksson, (1400 employees), gave themselves golden parachutes and executed an escape clause in the options contract that says any options are null and void if unvested and the company gets sold. So these engineers were granted some number of shares a few years ago at 20, now the stock is 200 and they are completely cut out of the deal. Totally unethical if you ask me, I hope they win their class action suit. If I had known about this I would have never bought the stock.
