sorry but i have to disagree with you...If AG actually raised rates??? just .25 basis points??? this market would plunge 2000 points in a blink of an eye...make no mistake about it...

second..they are not going to raise rates at the FOMC on the 18th...that week should so volitile because of opp exp week too, i would sit on my hands and do nothing...

also, it's the preception of what the FED's BIAS is...if they move from neutral to a tightening bias, then we corrct as well.. right then and there..

there's a 2 week window right here, a good empl# and the end of the War, we could see an explosive rally up to that date...

let's see how things unfold...

OJ...gotta agree with you on your interest rates views. Perception is all...and if the market perceives an upward bias with the Fed leading or following (they often follow) the downdrafts could be painful. You can gamble here and win or lose big. While the market is a Big Casino, I choose not to gamble.
