Nope, ASTN rocketed up this past Thurs. and Friday (look at volume charts) because it was leaked out and talked up in a bunch of daytrading chatrooms that ASTN was going to be featured on CNBC over this past weekend (was even posted on ASTN website). This just started a speculative momentum daytrading crowd to jump in it Thurs. and Friday anticipating a good CNBC piece... this past week's rise was SOLELY due to a momentum crowd, nothing intelectual going on here... sheep chasing after each other cause ASTN was "put into play" --- Not Howie PS. The CNBC piece wasn't so great, ASTN was mentioned briefly and did not say anything spectacular. That's why this stock has been dropping since this weekend... classic case of daytraders buying on rumor and selling on news (news being the weekend CNBC piece)... and that's why I doubt ASTN will hold 10 in the short term as it should get close to filling in the gap from whence it shot up.

mst, thanks for the "historical" recap. That explains the current "fever". Zeev
