I saw a little story recently about a couple of guys in England who have developed patented technology to very simply "project" 3D images (can't remember if they were holographic in nature), of the internals of the human body. The guys were not technical people, but were artists, I believe. (Go figure!). Apparently the image appeared in air, in front of a standard CRT (television tube). Those who saw it said was absolutely remarkable. This was about 6 weeks ago that I saw or read the story. Wish to heck I could find it.

The point I guess I'm trying to make is, I suspect that Kevin may have come to realize that there either were some big problems with Voxel's technology, or maybe he realized there was a better way to do what they were trying to do. If a couple of artists can come up with some technology that is outrageously good, maybe HGRM can, too????

Regarding Voxel...

It's too bad the YAHOO thread on Voxel is dead. The acrimony and hubris on that thread was quite high. A lot of people wanted the CEO in jail or worse.

HDI has to look at where their markets are and not take detours because it's "neat".

The new ownwer has been pretty silent.....its's a total unknown at this point.
