TORONTO, CANADA--DataMirror Corporation, a leading provider of data transformation and
replication software, announced today refinements to the structure of its North American sales force. Sales will be directed by regional
sales managers responsible for and located in particular geographic territories, with each regional manager reporting directly to the
President at the Company's Markham head office. The Company's European sales operations were reorganized early this year to
operate under a similar country manager system. ''The implementation of this sales model brings our North American sales structure
in line with European sales'', stated Nigel Stokes, President and Chief Executive Officer. ''We have found that this structure promotes
teamwork and gives sales personnel a more direct responsibility for the Company's sales efforts in their regions. We have been very
pleased with the efforts of the European sales team under this model to date.'' Along with the sales streaml! ining, Gary Collins,
formerly DataMirror's Vice President of Sales for the Americas, has left the Company. ''Our new structure has removed the need for
someone in Gary's position'', said Mr. Stokes. ''We thank Gary for his efforts with the Company and wish him every success in the
future''.
