Scott - DSL is hampered by the same forces that have held it back for the last 3 years - the Telcos don't want to expand the technology at the expense of their traditional high speed services, so they have been slow to implement, and have also priced the offerings too high to make inroads into the growing cable franchise. They seem to move on DSL only when market forces drive them. I think this is short-sighted but that is what is happening. We have seen some consolidation on standards but still it is too hard to get and maintain DSL service, and it is too expensive.
