Borrasca ( hard times ) Had the pleasure to see Virginia city again. Home of the Comstock. It is great to study the history of the stock speculations, and all of the endless stories. here is a history of one of the old ones.origsix.com my next gold stock buy. I see that Standard is the name now, (Gold Standard) VBG I for one, will just sit back and relax, and let them sell their gold,( Brits ) what the hell are they thinking.???????? As long as Standard hold on to Damoti, I will be here, happy trading. Skeena looks better. still say , sell 40% of Zip to geomaque.com take their stock, and cash. hope they can sell the 20% to Twin Gold.investor1.com KAPLAN'S CORNER: Question: A number of news stories mentioned heavy purchases of out-of-the-money gold put options, especially at the $265 strike price. What does this mean? Answer: Options trading, when it is either lopsidedly tilted to either the call or to the put side, is a valuable contrary indicator. When late-arriving speculators are strongly betting on a sharp decline in any financial instrument, especially when increased volatility premiums indicate that these speculators are paying top dollar, and when most of the purchasing takes place at the ask price, indicating that these speculators are unusually eager to establish their positions, they are almost always wrong as a group. The fact that so many are paying inflated, non-negotiated prices for options which would require a four percent or greater decline merely to be in the money indicates how extreme the bearishness sentiment has become in the gold market. Just as a top is defined by ultra-heavy out-of-the-money call buying, a bottom is defined by ultra-heavy out-of-the-money put buying. Too bad this gold decline happened now. !!! maybe standard could have gotten better financing XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX One of the early miners that found the deposit at virginia city, sold his share for, ( a blind horse, and a bottle of whiskey ) don't sell you Standard yet. maybe be diamonds in your future. ???????
