WSJ - DELL hires COMPAQ's former advertising agency. DELL EMBRACES AMMIRATI: Dell Computer said it tapped Interpublic Group's Ammirati Puris Lintas to handle the home and small-business portion of its ad account. The Round Rock, Texas, personal-computer maker began reviewing this slice of the work in March, whereupon all ad duties, estimated at $70 million to $90 million, were resigned by the then-incumbent, Interpublic's Goldberg Moser O'Neill. It is likely that Ammirati will pick up business-to-business duties and ads targeting the education and government sectors, said Frank Muehleman, Dell's vice president, general manager, small-business division. This is a feather in the cap of Ammirati, which last summer saw Omnicom Group's DDB Worldwide woo away its estimated $200 million Compaq Computer global ad account.

PPB: Following your suggestion I found on that thread he refers to others as "cockroaches" to add to "rat" "pig" "dog". I think the time has come to recognise that his level of discourse is not acceptable.
